Instead of starting from a blank page when trying to sell something, try starting with the A.I.D.A. Formula. It will change your life (seriously it’s amazing)!

All you have to remember is: Attention, Interest, Desire, Action.

This shows the signups for a startup, and how it compounds over time then suddenly “comes out of nowhere” but in reality was a slooowwww grind to get there!

This is useful to keep in mind when you're grinding away on something for a long time. KEEP PUSHING!

I go through soooo many of these fiction books reading at night, and it’s always fun to find one that holds your attention!

Essay:

SkinnyPop’s new look was a subtle but smart move as culture shifts from “diet” to “flavor.”

Jason Feifer noticed:

“Diet” is out. FLAVOR and FUNCTION are in. So that once-helpful word Skinny could become a liability.

𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗔𝗚𝗘: “Skinny” jumps out of a plain bag, which is defined by sharp lines (suggesting control + restraint).

𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗔𝗚𝗘: Emphasize delicious language and imagery, bordered by rough edges (looseness + play).

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧/𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚: It launched new flavors, and its marketing now says it’s “POPular” — playing off Pop, not Skinny.
