Swipe:
This is how to use chopsticks:
![]() |
I eat nearly 100% of my meals (at least at home) with chopsticks!
There's so many benefits:
- They slow down your eating.
- Easy to clean.
- You can keep like 20 sets of them in a small space.
- It’s more fun!
Wisdom:
I like this concept that businesses should identify their:
"Persona. Problem. Promotion."
Listen to Ayman describe it:

Basically a business needs to figure out:
• Persona: Who do you sell to?
• Problem: What problem do you solve for them?
• Promotion: How do I get these customers?

Interesting:
I did a review of customer payments from this/last year, and depending on the month, credit card payments are 3x to 18x the volume of PayPal payments.
Holy cow, that's WAY lower that I expected:

Also if any payment issue ever happens, it's 99% chance a PayPal issue.
I'm seeing little reason to keep accepting PayPal.
10 years ago this graph was completely flipped, and soooo many people paid online with PayPal.
Picture:
I mentioned in my last email this driverless Waymo car sits in the same spot everyday about a block from my house.
It makes random trips to pickup people, drops them off, then comes back again.

*STORY UPDATE*
An engineer at Waymo sent me an invite code so I rented it to see what it was like, result: Awesome!
|
Here's some things I've been loving about this system:
- Not having a driver is awesome. I can talk on the phone or to other friends in the car without worrying what someone will overhear.
- The AC and radio controls are in the back, so I can pick any vibe and temp in the car without worrying about the driver.
- I feel a bit safer with the computer driving than a human driving.
I can TOTALLY see full-driverless system being the much preferred way of getting around in the near future.
Essay:
So let's say we get hired to make advertising campaigns for Ford F-150 trucks.
The problem is you know nothing about trucks 🤨.
But as a marketer/copywriter you know a trick:
Go to the local Ford dealership, and ask to speak to the top sales rep.
Give em $500 and say "I just want to ask you questions for like 10 minutes."
Ask them: "When you're talking to someone about Ford F-150's, what makes people's eyes light up?"
This is how you figure out what people TRULY CARE ABOUT in a product. See here →

Splurge:
One of my favorite uses of money is spending $20 for a Canva tshirt with your friends face on it 😂

Sometimes it's hard to buy gifts for people, and this one always gets a laugh 😂
Have a great Friday!
Sincerely,
