An educational (and fun) email by Copywriting Course. Enjoy!

A major way Coca-Cola and Pepsi compete is by getting exclusive deals with different restaurant chains, this shows you who closed the deal with each restaurant chain:

It's why sometimes you ask for a Coke and they say, "Is Pepsi OK?" (then you roll your eyes because nobody prefers the Pepsi 🤣).
Both companies make a lot of money from this because they sign multi-year exclusive agreements to ONLY serve their products.
Imagine McDonald's who serves something like 2 to 3 billion meals a year ONLY selling your product.
Wisdom:
Guess what....ain't nobody thinking about you!
![]() |
Don’t worry about what others are thinking. They likely aren’t thinking about you.
Think about your own life:
- Are you thinking about someone’s social media post you saw?
- Are you thinking long and hard about someone else?
No.
You’re likely just busy with your own stuff. Same with others!
Interesting:
For working out at home I’ve been using an app/trainer combo called Future.
- You periodically meet with a trainer over Facetime.
- They program your weekly workout.
- You follow it.

This system works GREAT with a home gym and Apple TV combo.
However I'm not so sure how great it is without a home gym setup. I personally don't like using my phone at gym.
Here's a video of how it works:

Speaking of home gyms, I just got this cool walking pad with a laptop desk so I can get extra steps in throughout the day:

I like that I can use my laptop/ipad/phone with it, it's super simple, and shockingly cheap compared to giant treadmills.
So far a great purchase!
Essay:
Instead of think of "Luck" as some nebulous concept, think of it like a unit of measure:
![]() |
In other words: How many "Units of Luck" are you producing for yourself?
Warren Buffett talks about how lucky his life is:
• Two parents
• Speaks English
• Born in the United States
• Born during a huge boom time in the USA
Each one of these added "Units of Luck" to his life.
Here's other ways to create "Units of Luck" in your own life:
• Be hard working.
• Be willing to do more than someone else.
• Take more shots than other people normally do.
• When young try many different things, weed out stuff you don't like, do more of what you do like.
• Share your thoughts on the internet, this can attract other like-minded people into your network, no matter where they live.
• Go to places with successful people. Cities, events, gatherings etc.
"Luck" isn't a quality you have, it's a quality you build. You can create more "Luck."
People who create a lot of "Units of Luck" get lucky.
Splurge:
I'll be at a Newsletter Marketing Summit next month learning all I can about email lists and newsletter best practices.
Email lists are still one of the best ways to reach an audience (despite it being a crowded space)...they still deliver better numbers than social media followers:

The funny thing is building a newsletter or email isn't rocket science and doesn't have hard formulas:
![]() |
Generally it's just about blasting GREAT information people look forward to reading:
![]() |
...and also making sure to capture emails everyday, like I do with simple forms like this:
![]() |
One of my goals for 2025 is to concentrate on my email list over any other platform, so anything I learn to boost this will be valuable.
Have a great Friday!
Sincerely,
Neville Medhora
