Your product is 100x more important than “good web design”

At WP Engine, we once invested in fixing our 'poor web design' weakness and got zero return. Why? Because our words and product/market fit were 100x more important. Lesson: Double down on strengths.

I resonate with this because too many times I’ve seen companies redesign their whole websites (a big project) because their product isn’t selling….it’s usually NOT the web design, but rather the product/market fit.
