This is called the "SWIPES" Email and we have site called "SwipeFile."
The whole reason behind collecting "swipes" is to get ideas.
Ideas for marketing. Ideas for websites. Ideas for emails. Ideas to implement on my own (and your own) business.
That's why we created SwipeFile Remix. It creates and sends you (via email ✉️) one customized idea per day.
Not 100 ideas. Not 10 ideas. Just 1 idea.
Every morning it's a new one:

So Monday you might wake up to an email like this promoting your business (in this case a real estate company):

Now not EVERY DAY you're gonna get something that blows your mind and changes up your whole business.
But what if just a few days you get some really damn good ideas for: - A new angle for promoting. - A new ad creative. - A headline which you never thought of. - A way of comparing your business to others you never tried.
Now "one idea a day" might actually impact your biz:

Now imagine getting one of these every single day. The ideas will start to pile up, even creating your own customized SwipeFile for your biz!

An idea every single day, it adds up.
Now imaging getting a new idea every single day for a year, and the number of extra ideas you might get from this!

Also behind the scenes we're always fine tuning your outputs to give you unique angles, or ideas you never would've thought of.
A single idea could change everything. Checkout SwipeFile Remix →
As much as I learn online, I still learn more at conferences.....mostly because you get to connect with people in real life.
I'm personally going to Ahrefs Evolve on Oct 12 - 13 in San Diego which is next month:

Normally I wouldn't be as excited about an SEO conference, but the recent changes in the SEO industry have been exciting to watch as it has been COMPLETELY SHAKEN UP BY AI.
Like any technology change the people who adapt with the times often thrive, and I'd personally love to keep up and surpass.
A little more than 50,000 follow this Friday SWIPES Email, and of those people they have a combined ~66,000,000 social followers.
Watch this short vid how I know:

You can see the stats here: See my Kit Subscribers Signals Stats →
I didn't know any of this info before! Email lists were always just big text files full of email addresses, but not much else.
But now you some email providers (like Kit) will find any publicly listed social accounts and associate them with emails, so you can know soooo much more about your subscribers!
It's super helpful to know this, especially for getting sponsorships or reaching out to influential people on your list.
So I tested out the CyberCab which is deployed all around Austin:
It's a 2 seater
No steering wheel
No pedals
You call it like an Uber on the RoboTaxi app

I put my baby in it (don't worry he didn't actually take off with me)!
As you can see there's no pedals or steering wheel, it's just a 100% autonomous car. It was awesome!
This is standard configuration, as you can see tons of leg space:

It has a very big screen:

Ok I'm exaggerating here but you can really see how much legroom there is:

Me and my little guy going for a ride (not really!)

He approves...and by the time he grows up will likely never HAVE to drive if he doesn't want to:

On public facing copy (like this newsletter) I don't use AI to write things, but I DO use it for research.
I saw Sam Parr post about how he uses AI in his writing, and it's not for the writing itself but rather the idea generation:

Here it is transcribed for easier reading:
How I use ai for copywriting.
Ai sucks at writing. We all know this. But it can help with one BIG thing in writing.
So, the hardest but maybe the most important part of copywriting is finding the big idea then a story, fact, anecdote that reiterates the big idea that makes the big idea more palatable and easier to remember.
Basically...making your writing stick with the reader.
Ai is amazing and helping me find a story that sticks.
An example:
I was writing something for Hampton explaining why Core groups are great. You're in a room with others like you, some better, some worse...all trying to push you + get the most out of you + help you hit your life goals.
I told Claude that.
It gave me a bunch of stories back.
One was about how someone went to Michelangelo and was like "hey, Michelangelo...the Statue of David is amazing. How'd you invent something so amazing?"
"Oh no no, " Michelangelo said. "It wasn't me. I didn't invent anything. The beautiful Statue of David was already there underneath all that big rock. I merely helped remove the unnecessary parts so the beauty could be seen."
Thus, describing the psychological phenomenon where close peers help shape you into your ideal state.
This, by the way, is a proven thing. When you're around others who push you, people who know your goals, and want you to succeed...they start treating you in a way where you start becoming who you need to be to reach your goals.
But that name? The Michelangelo Effect. Chef's kiss. A wonderful phrase that I will use a bunch to get the idea across.
Now, to be clear, I still got a lot of junk facts and stories from Claude. And you still have to have taste and judgement.
But as soon as I saw that idea...boom, that's mine now.
So, that's how I use ai to help with copywriting.
What's cool is you can now make images with AI like this:

You prompt something like:
Create an infographic titled “Where Every Dollar of [PRODUCT / TOTAL PRICE] Goes.”
For example I used this prompt to give me the breakdown of the costs of an $1,800 iPhone and I got this in one shot:

Hope you have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
