Schweppes is a historic global brand of carbonated soft drinks and mixers, founded in 1783 in Geneva by Johann Jacob Schweppe as the world's first commercial carbonated mineral water. Famous for tonic water, ginger ale, and other sparkling beverages, it holds a British royal warrant since 1836. The brand is now owned and distributed by various conglomerates by region: Keurig Dr Pepper in North America, Suntory in much of Europe, Coca-Cola in many territories, and Asahi in Australia.
