So this is an A/B Split test we did 3 weeks ago on SwipeFile.com to test a totally different style of signup form.

I was trying to make a better version of this signup form that was converting at a site-wide 1.1% (it would shoot up to 3.5% on certain days):

The contenders for overtaking the control were these four:

We ran the tests over 3 weeks and here's what came back:

So all four variations performed WORSE than the control.

So the winner was....the exact same thing we had already:

So we are going to test this again...I actually think we might even use some wild ChatGPT remixes of this to see if it works, like this 1980's looking version of the same form, like this!

Wisdom:

This is an awesome visual that just because something is down one day, doesn't mean it's a big deal in the longrun:

This is ESPECIALLY true in the stock market. Some days are all red and going down and it seems like the sky is falling, but then you wait a few days and the tides change for the better.

Interesting:

Dharmesh (founder of HubSpot) has an awesome coined term of RAAS (Results As A Service), where it doesn't matter the type of work you provide, just the results. He calls it "RaaS"​

"For RaaS to be effective, there has to be some objective, measurable result that the customer is paying for."

He says all three of these models will exist, but ultimately as AI gets better and the lines between AI and Human get blurred, the results are the most important thing.

An ad like that would have previously taken a designer a long time to make...and now thanks to AI we can all express this kind of creativity!
