SwipeFile: Inspiration for your marketing.
CopywritingCourse: Get good at selling your stuff.
I hope you get some good ideas from this email!
Let's dive in.....
Swipe:
Can we PLEASE not discount the fact that you can stick a simple sign like this in the ground, and instantly hit your target audience and get free eyeballs all day!
Here's an example I saw while walking in front of a school:

When marketing a product/service a lot of people's thoughts jump straight to online sales, but here's a rule of thumb:
If your service is a LOCAL service, then advertise in LOCAL ways.
If your service is an ONLINE service, then advertise in ONLINE ways.
So sometimes just sticking a sign in the ground near where target customers are is a very effective way of advertising!

Wisdom:
I love this quote!

People who think a lot are great, but so long as it's coupled with action every now and then.
Interesting:
This is an interesting survey showing the confidence of each sales channel:
Basically it says for advertising that:
• Email = Good
• Search Ads = Good
• SEO = Good
• Social Ads = Medium
• Display Ads = Medium
• CTV = Medium
• Social Media = Bad
• Content = Bad
• Podcasts = Bad
Now there's obviously exceptions to everything here, but I've found this to be true as well.
If I send an email I can almost guarantee some results. If I promote only through social media it's kind of iffy.
Email is a DIRECT connection to your audience, whereas social media is a connection to a platform's audience.

I've been having lots of fun taking pics and videos of my little guy.

Then here's me laughing while editing reels and posts for our private family Instagram 🤣

Essay:
SO it's the end of the year and everyone is making GOALS.
Well here's some useful tips and frameworks I've picked up over the years:
A GIANT list of goals can backfire. Try to keep them short, easy, and small:

I personally like having only THREE goals per month. This forces me to narrow down what's actually important:
This is how my buddy Noah Kagan sets his yearly goals. He likes putting them separated by Work, Health, Personal, Travel:

There's a method called "Laddered Goals." This is where you really plan out from the broad goal, to the micro actions:

I think this is a better "visual" way to see the Laddered Goals: It's difficult to think what the world will be like in 25 years, but you can try to think of what kind of life you'd want to be living at the time and work backwards to it:

Here's an interesting framework with "questions" to prod you into finding your important goals:

Hope you get your goals all set for 2026! Feel free to share them with me by replying to this email!
