This chart is STILL wild to me that Reddit is where MOST AI's go to learn!
This was further cemented by Google putting $60m into Reddit in 2024 for "licensing" which meant they could use all of Reddit to train AI.
The rest of the sources are social media sites and such.
It's crazy to think that 20 years ago all these sites were considered inconsequential random websites and apps....and now they form the basis for our human collective knowledge.
Wisdom:
I love the "hit rate" concept where success comes out of simply trying and trying again.....like that famous Michael Jordan quote:
"I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."
This concept completely reminds me of social media. We post content on 6 different social platforms, and it'll be like:

Today there are 49,934 people getting this SWIPES Email, and previously I knew very little about who everyone was.
It was just a big ass list of emails like this:
....but as of 2 weeks ago thanks to a feature called Kit Signals is that AI takes me email list, scours the web for info, and can do "data enriching" to make that list of emails sooooo much more useful, something like this:

Or now I can sort my audience by follower count, and these are some of the top people each with a social reach of around ~1m people each!
Thanks to Signals I can also see my audience has some interesting stats:

I tried to take similar photos off my balcony over the last 3 years. The skyline actually blocks a lot of other buildings behind them too so you can't see the full magnitude from this angle:
The amount of development happening in Texas is pretty cool, and it's neat a lot of gigantic factories, tech companies, and related companies have moved here as well.
