Swipe:
SO for SwipeFile.com we've been getting sponsors, and it's a new line of revenue, and it's harder and longer (giggity) than I expected, because you have to have many meetings with companies to hash out sponsorship terms.
Doing this for every sponsor is hard, so every few emails I include sponsorships directly from Kit Ads network which completely gets rid of that process. You just "drop in" an ad and get paid by the click.
For example, right now I have an inside Kit where I get $1.53 per click:
So I will just drop this ad for Lovable (the ai platform where you can vibe-code web apps and make them live instantly), and if someone clicks this ad, I make $1.53 per click:

Pretty cool huh!
So for that ad I literally had NO MEETINGS, NO EMAIL THREADS, and NO PAPERWORK, just a straight up promotion I can drop into my Kit account. This makes things so much easier for creators and email newsletter sender-ers.
Wisdom:
My friend Noah Kagan pulled the internal search data from AppSumo and these were top softwares people were searching for:

Out of 63,410 searches here's what founders were looking for:
1 - SEO tools
2 - LinkedIn automation
3 - AI video
4 - CRM
5 - Email marketing
6 - WordPress plugins
I found it surprising SEO was still at the top. But not surprising that almost everything had some form of AI in it.
Interesting:
This dude did something hella clever with AI:
He took photos from Zillow listings like this:

Then he uses AI to create cinematic videos like this of the property, and sells them for $100-$500 per listing!
Here's how he does it:
→ Pull listing photos from any property (Zillow, Redfin, wherever)
→ Lock in a consistent renovation style for the entire property
→ Generate photorealistic renovated images
→ Animate each room transformation
→ Create a cinematic closing shot featuring the realtor's contact info
→ Generate a custom music track
→ Edit everything together
The result: A scroll-stopping property video that makes buyers reach out. All with: No videographer. No staging budget. No waiting for golden hour.
Picture:
A huge part of my life right now is soaking up allllllll the time I can with my baby son while he's still a little guy!
Here's some pics from lately:
Burping him....he always makes the best faced when I burp him 😂

Hanging out with Mochi (who we were dogsitting):

He looks so funny in a shirt and pants!

I just can't get over how funny babies look in grown up style clothes!

I just can't get over how funny babies look in grown up style clothes!

We've been going to lots of restaurants and bars and parties to make sure he's acclimated to loud areas:

My family! Ok Mochi isn't technically part of my family but he's an honorary Medhora :)

Essay:
These are the new things venture firms like A16Z and YCombinator are looking for as interesting startups:

No surprise that almost all of them involve some form of AI or automation that wasn't possible just a few years ago.
AI will of course destroy some jobs, but man, it's supercharged job and startup creation in other areas!
Splurge:
After years of searching for the perfect to-do list app....I've finally found it. It's been under my nose the whole time:
It's free. It's simple. It's perfectly synced on all devices.
If you have any Google login then you already have an account: https://tasks.google.com
I've been using it like this:

I have 4 different lists I constantly update and change:
1.) Today's Tasks
2.) Tomorrow's Tasks
3.) Monthly Goals
4.) Home Tasks (projects for around the house).
That's it. This has been the best thing I've ever used for keeping up with my to-do list. So dang simple and easy!
Anyways, hope you have a great weekend!!!
Sincerely,
Neville Medhora
