Wisdom:

I have no idea if this random post is true or not, but taking a stroll and walking is definitely better than scrolling (sometimes)!

I love scrolling social media.

I think it's a marvel of the modern world we can access information like this, but it's like alcohol or anything else, moderating usage is up to you.

Interesting:

I saw this CyberTruck charging and thought it was pretty damn striking, like a rolling billboard for this roofing company!

I assume this whole vehicle is considered a Section 179 tax write off since it’s:
- 6,000+ lbs
- Used for work
- Used as marketing

It looks even crazier in person than the pictures:

Here's a fun little roadtrip with my friend Cathryn and David to Bastrop, TX. for our friend Nomadic Matt's book launch at Ryan Holiday's bookstore yesterday:

We drove out to Bastrop from Austin during traffic hours, around a ~45 min drive:

It was at our friend Ryan Holiday's now-famous Painted Porch Bookstore:

They have a bunch of cats running around the store, and it looked like this cat was ready to conduct an interview 🤣 🤣 🤣

Ryan and Matt did an interview and then audience Q&A:

Our other buddy Brent Underwood who lives in a ghost town (and is also Ryan Holiday's business partner) was there too:

It was a fun little event, we went out after, and saw tons of other friends!

Essay:

My first business was an eCommerce company and I paid my supplier on a credit card so I'd rack up tons of credit card points.

I didn't know what these were for, but when I did....

For the next 7 years I never paid for a hotel 😬

I would stay in W Hotels or equivalent. I'd get room upgrades. It was awesome.

It's interesting how airlines are literally just credit card companies, and make ALL their profit from their loyalty credit cards vs actually flying.

Because of this huge increase in loyalty cards if you know how to play the game correctly you can get a lot of free upgrades or travel.

Splurge:

This is a small splurge for anyone who wants to shave in the shower, but the mirror always gets fogged up!!

This fog-less mirror costs like 15 bucks and lets me easily shave in the shower (sooooo much better than in the sink and no cleanup)!

It hangs in my bathroom, and if it gets foggy at all just throw some warm water on it and it de-fogs.

Super simple item that saves me a ton of time :-)
