I love calendars as a sales tool! They can help people understand how they would use a product over a long period of time, like this "learning copywriting" calendar:
![]() |
We have many skills to teach people in our CC, so we made a "calendar roadmap" like this to show people so people could follow it:
![]() |
Especially if you have a product which is a subscription a calendar can be very useful, like this launch roadmap that covers 4 quarters:

Wisdom:
Here's 10 metrics to see if you have product market fit with your product or not, by Andrew Chen:

Interesting:
There's a thing called the "Sit Stand Test" that's a rough indicator of your overall health and longevity:
![]() |
This is a famous test that is a rough indicator on your overall health.
- GOOD: You can get up from sitting cross-legged to standing with no assistance of your hands.
- MEDIUM: You push off the ground or use your hands on your legs.
- BAD: You can't do this.

Some people find this test very eye opening if they have a lot of trouble doing this motion!
Picture:
This is me sitting in heavy/rainy traffic with my full self driving turned on, and the car completely driving for me the entire trip:
![]() |
In front of me is a full self driving Waymo car.
AND just yesterday Tesla announced that an unsupervised version of FSD will be out, in Austin, in June (you currently have to semi pay attention or the car yells at you).
Yes...historically Tesla timelines have been optimistic, but I can attest that the cars can pretty much 100% drive themselves now with no intervention. It's quite amazing.
The only block is regulatory approval, which seems to be loosening this year.
Being able to get from one place to another cheaply and safely and NOT have to spend brain power driving is a MAJOR unlock for humanity.
I drove ~400 miles in one day last Saturday. 98% of the time the car drove. I was especially grateful for it driving a long stretch back home when it was really bad weather with fog, low visibility, rain, darkness and traffic.
Essay:
I now recommend a lot of fiction books, more than business books:
![]() |
...however this wasn't always the case, I used to read a TON of business books, but I think the emergence of long podcasts, amazing YouTube videos with business people, and a lot of social media posts from business people fills that gap for me.
Now reading a business book that's 4 years old almost seems....more antiquated?
It used to be books were the main way to acquire knowledge:
![]() |
Obviously not all of them feel antiquated, but if I want to learn about AI, there might be a few books that are good on the subject, but all the recent knowledge comes from social media or interviews....not books.
![]() |
Books are still great for biographies, auto-biographies, history and more, but I feel like trying to stay up with new things on the internet is more of a social media thing.
Splurge:
So speaking of reading a lot of science fiction, a great hard science fiction book I'm currently reading is The Object.
This is one of the books where I downloaded the free Kindle preview on the PaperWhite and ended up buying because it was gripping!

Have a great Friday!
